HAVE BIKES OR TOOLS LYING AROUND? THINK WHAT WE’RE DOING IS COOL?
The Bike Kitchen is always seeking donations of various types and sizes. Here is a list of what we would love to receive:
TOOLS
Adjustable wrenches, metric wrenches, third-hand tool, needle-nose pliers, wire cutters, headset wrenches, cone wrenches, allen wrenches, chain breakers, vice grips, bottom bracket tools, spoke wrenches, etc.
BIKES AND PARTS
Working bikes, cable, housing, tubes, chains, brakes.
CLEANING SUPPLIES
Towels and rags, large trash can, cleaning brushes, swiffer.
ACCESSORIES
Locks, helmets, lights, reflectors, travel kits, bells, baskets.
FOR THE SPACE
Organization bins, shelves, toolboxes, pens, sharpies, Adobe Dreamweaver.
VOLUNTEERS
We’d love to have volunteers help us teach bike maintenance at our weekly Bike Fix’n hours. No experience is necessary, but a desire to learn is required! We also have a lot of potential for murals in our new space. Volunteering with us does not just mean fixing bikes; if you have a special skill and think the bike kitchen would benefit, let us know!
