The Smith College Campus Center

The Smith College Campus Center opened its doors to the community in August of 2003.  Designed by award-winning firm Weiss/Manfredi Architects of New York, the Campus Center integrates modern ideas and design into Smith’s historical and natural setting.  A place to see and be seen, the 56,000-square-foot building is positioned at the heart of Smith’s campus offering students, faculty, staff and guests countless ways to gather and interact.  Complimenting the academic mission of the college, the Campus Center provides opportunities for co-curricular learning and involvement and serves as the home to the Office of Student Activities, which supports more than 120 recognized student organizations and the Student Government Association.  The activities, services and facilities help students develop socially, take on leadership roles, pursue intellectual activities and develop a sense of social responsibility and community.
