Embedding Content

Did you know that you can embed calendars, maps, and other dynamic content into a blog page or post?

Using the instructions below, you can easily embed a Google Calendar or Map (or any other embeddable content) into your blog.

  1. First, you need to activate the Google Maps Quicktag plugin, which allows you to embed code into your blog. (To activate the plugin, go to Manage → Plugins.)
  2. Next, copy the text of the object you’d like to embed.
  3. Once you have the code in your clipboard, go to your blog and open the page or post you’d like to add it to.
  4. Click on the HTML button in the upper-right-hand corner of the text editor.
  5. Paste the iframe or object into your post.
  6. Click Save or Publish to add the embedded code to your blog.
