Managing Users

To add users from the Smith community to your blog, click on Users and then choose Add User. Type in the Novell username of the person you would like to add and choose a Role for them. Click Add User.

  • Administrator can switch themes, moderate comments, manage plugins, users, categories, links, files, posts, pages, and all other options. Administrators can also delete posts and pages written by other users.
  • Editor can moderate comments, manage categories, links, files, posts, and pages. Editors can also delete posts and pages written by other users.
  • Author can upload files, edit posts, publish posts, and delete their own posts.
  • Contributor can edit posts and delete posts that have not yet been published.
  • Subscriber can read posts.

Your blog can have as many users as you want, from any role. However, it is recommended that you only give a user as much “power” as they need when you choose a role for them.
