International student awarded NASA scholarship

Geneviève de Mijolla ’13 has been awarded a one-year $10,000 scholarship as a NASA MUST Scholar. The Motivating Undergraduates in Science and Technology (MUST) scholarship program encourages students from underserved and underrepresented groups to enter science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

Geneviève, who is from France, is a double major in engineering and physics at Smith.  In addition to her scholarship Genevièvewill be eligible for a paid internship at a NASA center next summer and she and the other MUST scholars will benefit year-round from tutoring and mentoring from STEM faculty and peers.
