Smith alumna Barbara Hou ’03, founder and president of the Asian Women’s Leadership University (AWLU) Project, is inviting Smithies to help her establish Asia’s first women’s liberal arts university.
Project organizers are in the process of building a “world-class educational institution in Asia dedicated to empowering women and helping them become successful entrepreneurs and engaged leaders.”
The AWLU Project is an official non-profit organization with tax-exempt 501(c)(3) status in the United States. Anyone interested in getting involved with the project can visit www.awluproject.org.
