Students have been studying at Smith’s Junior Year Abroad in Paris since 1925. The program, which is begins in late August and runs through early June, is now accepting applications.
While in Paris, students participating in the JYA program will have access to the Smith Center in Paris (located at the Reid Hall Global Center) and will have the opportunity to enroll in courses at the Sorbonne, Sciences Po, and the Université de Paris IV — Denis Diderot. They will live with French families in Paris, and can pursue an internship or volunteer opportunity.
Women and men from four-year colleges are eligible to apply for the program if they have at least a 3.0 GPA and the equivalent of four recent semesters of college French. Smith students must apply by February 1. Guest students may apply until March 1.
