On Friday, October 28 learn about the minor in Middle East Studies over a pizza lunch. A minor in the Middle East Studies offers courses that covers a geographical region stretching from north Africa to southwest and central Asia. The presentation will be from noon to 1 p.m. in the Campus Center, room 003.
The following week, interested students may join the faculty of the Global South Development Studies program to discuss and explore the opportunities available to students with a GSDS minor.
Global South Development Studies is a multidisciplinary social science program that explores the transformation of African, Asian, Latin American, and Middle Eastern societies since the 16th century. The presentation of the minor will be held at noon on Monday, October 31, in the Dewey House Common Room. Refreshments will be served.
