JYA students and Smith alumnae meet up in Geneva

International Advancement recently went on a tour of Europe, meeting alumnae and giving presentations about Smith's international perspective. Here, a group of alumnae and JYA students gather in Geneva, Switzerland.

On Sunday, October 9, students participating in Smith’s Geneva JYA program and Geneva-area alumnae gathered for a potluck dinner at the home of Anne Hornung-Soukup ’74.

The evening attracted about two dozen people who connected over dinner and an illustrated talk by Kim Albright ’72, director of International Advancement at Smith.  The talk, “Smith’s International Strategy: Exciting Results”, included an overview of the college’s most recent global initiatives, as well as updates on the number of international students at Smith, the status of the JYA programs, and how a global focus is integrated into courses and events on campus.
