Do you love Italian language and literature? Then attend the presentation for the Junior Year Abroad in Florence, Italy tomorrow, November 2, from 5-6 p.m. in Hatfield 104.
Smith’s Junior Year Abroad program in Florence has the distinction of being the oldest American program in Italy. Celebrating its 80 anniversary this academic year, the program began in 1931.
The program runs for a full academic year, beginning in mid-September and wrapping up in June. Eligible students may apply from Smith or other four-year colleges, provided they have at least a 3.0 GPA and two years of college Italian.
Smith students must have their applications in no later than February 1. Guest students may apply until March 1.
