During Interterm 2012, Smith College will collaborate with Oxfam America to host a day-long Advocacy Institute on Monday, January 23, 2012.
The Advocacy Institute will feature workshops and two panel discussions designed to bring students together to learn more about global hunger and to build social justice advocacy skills. A full schedule of events can be found here.
The Advocacy Institute is sponsored by the Center for the Environment, Ecological Design and Sustainability (CEEDS); the Global Studies Center; the Office of the Dean of the College; and Oxfam America. Participation is open to all Five College students, but the conference is limited to 100 attendees.
