The Southeast Asian Alliance is hosting its first Southeast Asian Dessert Workshop this Saturday, April 21, at Unity House.
From 1:30-4 p.m. (note the change from 6-8 p.m.) the group will be serving its best-selling leche flan and mango sticky rice, as well as halo-halo. Halo-halo is a popular Filipino dessert that is a mixture of shaved ice, evaporated milk and other delicious toppings, including red beans, coconut, and gelatin.
Halo-halo workshop + 1 topping is $3; additional toppings are $.50 each. Leche flan and mango sticky rice are $1 each. The event is open to the public, and any student bringing along a prospective student can satisfy her sweet tooth with a buy one, get one free deal.
