As the calendar year draws to a close, there is just over a week left to make a year-end gift to Smith. Gifts are accepted from donors anywhere in the world and can be made via credit or debit card in any major currency. U.S. taxpayers have an incentive to give by December 31, 2012 in order to receive a tax-deduction for the year.
The easiest way to give is online, at Smith’s secure online giving page. Once there, donors can designate their Smith gifts to a number of global projects. For instance, gifts to the Jill Ker Conway Challenge will be used to support international student scholarships. Donors can also make gifts through the Smith Fund that will benefit the International Programs Fund, International Scholarships, or Study Abroad.
If you make a gift during Smith’s winter break December 22, 2012 to January 2, 2013), please note that our Gift Accounting office will be open at the following times:
- Thursday, December 27 — 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
- Friday, December 28 — 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Monday, December 31 — 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
