The Smith College Community Service Office is looking for volunteers to work with students who are refugees from all over the world. Volunteers will be paired with children from the Kensington Magnet Elementary School in Springfield to provide one-on-one mentoring on a weekly basis. Students interested in the mentoring program should attend the orientation meeting [...] During summer 2011, these Smith students traveled to Cambodia (to teach dance), Singapore (to improve banking databases), and Thailand (to participate in a medical internship) using International Experience Grants.
