Classes

The pages below are intended to give prospective students (and their advisors) a glimpse of the course offerings available through the SAP program.  As you peruse the site, here are a few important things to keep in mind:

1) This site, and these course descriptions are actively evolving.  We will be updating the site every time new information becomes available, so please check back frequently.

2) We have provided the course descriptions and syllabi as they have been prepared by our partner universities.  You will note that these course descriptions differ in length and detail, depending on the department and institution concerned.

3) These lists are provided for informational purposes only, and are not meant to replace the crafting — with the help of the SAP Program Director and your advisor — of an appropriate course of study.

4) We will be uploading English translations of all course descriptions shortly.

5) The information we provide is based on the materials made available by our partners.  On occasion, the information may be out of date: course offered in the current year may not necessarily be available next year.  We will make every effort to ensure that the content of this site is accurate and up to date, but cannot make any guarantees to that effect.

6) In many cases, material covered in a single course at an American institution may be divided into 2 or more courses in France. Conversely, certain French courses may incorporate content traditionally distributed across multiple courses in the US. The website will allow you to construct an initial proposal for your program of studies.
