Researchers and Smithipedia

Smithipedia provides an excellent opportunity for students to engage in research, writing and editing of entries that help document Smith history.  Much of what you currently see in its pages has been the work of a cadre of student with an interest in Smith history.  For the last 3 years, these STRIDE student scholars have provided the core of entries for the site:

For the 2010/2011 academic year Natalie Sargeant, 2012, Joanna Johnson, 2012, Maggie Kraus, 2012 and Natasha Zuniga 2013 form the core Smithipedia group.   Other students include Year 1: Lauren Arthur ‘2010, Emma Forrest ‘2011,  Alexandra Ghiz ‘2012,  Rachel Hanlon ‘2010, Year 2:  Kaitlin Hovanes ‘2012,  Elsa Rosales ‘2011J,  Amy Shmania ‘2011, Fatima Vasconez  ‘2010, and Natasha Zuniga ‘2013.

We encourage students to submit entries for their campus organizations, or other activities.  We hope the site will include alumnae contributions, as well as entries written by administrators, faculty and staff.

If you wish to submit an entry, or add information to a current entry, please send the information to Nanci Young at nyoung@smith.edu. It will be posted as soon as we can verify the information.
