“When I dare to be powerful, to use my strength in the service of my vision, then it becomes less and less important whether I am afraid.” ~Audrey Lorde
When I dare to be different, to follow my calling no matter the whispers, no matter the stares, I break through the boundaries that I and others have placed about me and I feel my true Self. And within that Self, I find the strength and the power to be me. My light shines brighter, not dimmed by the doubting darkness of others.
When I make myself of use in the service of others, whatever that may be, it is the service that matters most, not fear of my powerful and engaging being, nor the fear that I am in some way lacking.
As you discover your beautiful Self, layer by layer, peeling away old useless parts of the you that used to be, you will unveil, unfold like a spring blossom into something of magnificence in your best, most fearless, moments. When those moments occur, do not let yourself recoil in self-judgment, but rather embrace this new you, exposing little by little your true calling.

This post is simply amazing; it resonates with me in this precise place and time, especially this last part: “And when those moments occur, do not let yourself recoil in self-judgment but rather embrace this new you, exposing little by little, layer by later, your true calling.” Thank you.
The true hope of humanity that we can seek to find self and assist others in the same in spite of the fears of the consiquences of not conforming to the rat race.
