Short Story Contest Open to all! Write a story a story that sci-fi/fantasy based (max 5 pages) and submit if for the competition! It will be running all weekend, so you can drop it in any time and the winner will be announced, after everyone has cast their votes in the "Official Voting Box" on the Short Story Table. Sunday afternoon, at the end of the con, be there to hear who has won and claim their prize! Of course, earlier is better too! So if you have a story ready, you can do one of the following: 1) send it as a Word Doc attachment through email and we'll print it out! 2) Print it out and stick it in Chrissy's mailbox! Milk & Cookies Wrap Up To celebrate the end of a great con and to enjoy our last moments together, we will be holding a "Milk & Cookies" (thank you Vericon!) in the Lounge Room. There, winners of the Cosplay contest and the Short-story contest will be announced. We will also be going over the pros and cons (oh! pun!) of the planning/carrying out the con so bring your constructive criticism and an appetite! Anime Karaoke Lina and Chloe are the Karaoke Overlords! Karaoke will be running all throughout the con in room 208! The j-rock panel will also be held in the karaoke room but besides that, pretty much Karaoke all the time unless the Overlords are out =D Homestar Runner Voice Imitations contest Are you addicted to web flash animations? Do you just love homestarrunner.com? Do you idolize Strong Bad and his accent? Come and show off you skills at imitating the whacky voices of Homestar Runner characters in our Homestar Runner Voice Imitations Contest. Sign up at the contest on a first-come, first-serve basis to do your skit or best imitation of anything from Homestar Runner. Prizes will be given out for anything from the best Strong Bad imitation to the most creative (How would Homsar sound sinigng the Trogdor song?) Competition is informal and all are welcome! -- Judged by Katy and Kuroi. Sunday 1-2pm! Boffing Tournament Smith's "Lost Knights" and Amherst's Boffing team will be battling it out on Seelye lawn in a fight to the DEATH! All are welcome to participate as long as you have a weapon! So make a double-headed ax or good old traditional sword at the Boffing Weapon Construction workshop and join in the bloodshed!! Bard Challenge Join in this game of challenging creativity! All the participants stand in a circle and have to tell a bit of a story, creating a long, CRAZY tale! To slow? You get eliminated! It'll be a round or two after which the last man standing received "Official Bard" patch and a complimentary prize. =D Be there or be there...not there!
