Welcome to the official website for EKTA
EKTA means unity in several languages spoken in various countires in South Asia. This word represents us as an entity as we weave together our individual cultural backgrounds, languages, faiths and ourselves to further explore our South Asian heritage. EKTA strives to act as a support network for all South Asian students of Smith College as well as the 5-college community. We are proud of creating networks of friendship and by using educational, cultural and social programs, we build cultural awareness and understanding of the idenity and cultures of South Asia.
