Next Saturday, November 21st, Groove will be performing a short set at the annual Autumn Serenade concert at 8 PM in Sweeney Hall in Sage. As our members are scattered amongst the Glee Club, Chamber Singers, and College Chorus, this is your chance to hear the diverse material we sing on a weekly basis!

BREAKING NEWS: Unfortunately, our Nautical Jam has been postponed to Friday, December 11th thanks in no small part to swine flu (we really wish it weren't true).
It was an incredibly hard decision to make, as we obviously wanted to put on a great show for you all tomorrow night, but we had to come to terms with the fact that we just can't do that with half our group in quarantine.
More details will come up on this event as we work them out. We really hope you can all still come (and that perhaps some of you who couldn't will be able to) on this new date! Although Off the Record will have dropped by then, CDs purchased at the Jam will still be sold for the special price of $10.

Come to Groove's Nautical Jam on Saturday, November 14th at 8 pm in the Helen Hills Hills Hills Hills Hills Hills Chapel! We'll be debuting a handful of new songs, doing some old classics, and selling our brand new CD, Off the Record, for a jam-only special price of ten shiny dollars. That's right, our jam doubles as a CD release shindig.
The lads from Amherst's Route 9 will be making a guest appearance.

A big thank you to everyone who came and auditioned for us! It was great to hear a lot of new voices. We'll be holding another round of auditions in the spring, but for now, please join us in welcoming our newest Groovies,

Come hear Groove at Arch Sing! On Sunday, September 20th at 7 PM, all the various a cappella groups on campus will gather under the neon lights of the Neilson archway and perform a few selections. It's sure to be a fun and diverse event, and we hope to see you there!
Auditions for Groove will be the week after, at the following times:
Tuesday, Sept. 22nd: 7-10pm in Sage 15
Wednesday, Sept. 23rd: 8:30-10pm in Sage 16
Thursday, Sept. 24th: 7-10pm in Sage 15
Bring the first verse and chorus of a contemporary song that really shows off your voice. We'll do some range testing, note recall, rhythm practice, stuff like that - nothing too hard. :)

Groove just completed an exciting spring semester of performances and recording for our next CD, scheduled for release in October. We'll be on break until the fall, when we'll be looking for new members!
