The Luso-Brazilian Club was chartered
in
2001 in order to establish a community for those interested in Portuguese
speaking countries, culture, and issues. Goals of the organization include
bringing awareness to the campus about the Portuguese speaking world and
to create a place to explore the diversity of that world. Current members
have varying types of connections to Portuguese speaking countries and
cultures. Some were born in and/or lived in Brazil/Portugal, others grew
up in Portuguese-speaking homes here in the US and still others are just
now discovering this interest. The Luso-Brazilian Club welcomes all who
are interested!
