Mission Statement | The purpose of MISC is to promote awareness, acknowledgement, acceptance, and celebration of multiethnic persons, interracial families and relationships, and transracial adoptions within the Smith College community. MISC was also established to provide a comfortable environment for self-definition for multienthic students and for those adopted transracially and/or cross-culturally. A main goal of MISC is to facillitate and promote discussion of issues pertaining to multiethnic peoples and cross-cultural experiences. |
