Please join the Smith Catholic community for Sunday Mass
at Helen Hills Hills Chapel at 4:30 pm. A home-cooked

Rosary, Sundays at 4, Chapel, and Tuesdays at 5, Chapel meeting room
This semester we have started a new tradition of gathering to pray the rosary together, every Sunday before Mass in the Chapel, and every Tuesday evening before dinner in the Chapel meeting room (downstairs).
All are welcome!

Centering Prayer, Fridays at 5, Chapel meeting room
In the spirit of Lent, we (Newman, Radical Catholics and the Chaplaincy), are starting a series of centering prayer sessions, every Friday at 5 pm, in the Bodman Lounge of the Chapel. Lent is "a season of conversion, a time of turning toward God in preparation for Easter. Lent is not a somber or sad season but one of sobering joy, for we know that the happiness of Easter will come." (www.findinggod.org, Loyola Press resources) Centering prayer is a wonderful way of turning toward God in silence, stillness and awareness, and, especially appropriate during Lent, centering prayer is a practice of waiting—as Simone Weil says, "waiting for God." We invite you all (and your friends!) to join us at 5 pm, every Friday this semester, for the peaceful contemplation of centering prayer. All are welcome!
