November:

14th - Join Nosotras for the annual Taste Of Latin America on Davis Ballroom from 6pm to 8pm. Come and enjoy delicious food!

There will also be a party afterwards: Taste of Latin Rhythm at Davis Ballroom from 9pm to 1 am

15th- Next General Body Meeting

The magnificent ladies of Nosotras, with collaboration and enthusiasm raised $380.00 for A Mother's Wish Foundation in the Dominican Republic. The foundation directs a clinic and community center, Pequeños Pasitos (“Small Steps”), which provides for 1500 people who live in five rural communities that are located in the mountains outside of Santiago, Dominican Republic.

In addition, please bring extra money for Taste of Latin America. Nosotras will also be fundraising for Foundation Padre Damian in Nicaragua with a dessert table.

We commend all participating members for their involvement, without them, we would not have succeeded.

Katherine Lebron is looking for dancers to form a dance group, she wants to incorporate hip-hop, salsa, merengue, bachata, and other forms of dance. If you are interested please email klebron@smith.edu to get more information about the auditions, times, etc.
