Water-Based
Water-based lubes are a great choice for a basic lube. They're easy to clean up and come in a variety of consistencies and flavors. They can venture in any orifice you desire. Most importantly they are condom and silicone toy friendly!
*Glycerin Water based lube sometimes has glycerin in order to give it a sweet '''''''''''''''''''''''''''''flavor. While some women have no problem with glycerin, others find the '''''''''''''''''''''''''''''sugar-based ingredient can lead to yeast infections and irritation.
*Glycerin-Free Water based lubes without glycerin are preferred by women with ''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''very sensitive genitals. They may be slightly bitter or flavorless.

Silicone
Silicone lubes are much longer lasting than water-based lubes. They don't dry up as quickly and some can even stand up to water. They are condom friendly but NOT silocone toy friendly. The chemicals in these lubes that keep the silicone in a liquid state will warp and liquify your silicone toys! These lubes are a great choice for marathon, toy-free sex.

Oil
Oil based lubes are the slipperiest, longest lasting lubes of them all but they have many downsides. They are NOT vagina or latex condom compatible and can be hard to clean up. The oils in these lubes will irritate the vagina and deteriorate latex condoms. They're ok with polyurethane condoms. These lubes are great for anal play and handjobs.
