Dildos
Dildos come in all shapes and sizes to fit any person looking for one. They can be used vaginally, anally, or orally (some people really enjoy performing oral sex on a dildo). Some come with flared bases so that they can be used in a harness, and they can look like phalluses or abstract shapes (even animals). Some of the more realistic ones have testicles… NOT COMPLETE
Dildos are non-vibrating toys constructed for anal and vaginal insertion. They usually are constructed to anatomically or artistically resemble a penis but they can also be shaped in swirls, animals, or abstract shapes. For sexual play with dildos, they can be inserted into a harness, which is worn around the pelvis with a ring to hold the dildo in place at the front of the body. Silicone is the ideal material for dildos because it is resilient, it retains body heat, and it is easy to clean. Silicone toys tend to be more expensive than rubber toys. Non-silicone toys can be made of glass, stainless steel, softskin (which is made to feel more like real skin on a penis would feel), and jelly rubber.
Dildos run between $24- $350.
Vibrators
There are a couple different types of vibrators out there. Vibrators are toys that vibrate, as opposed to dildos which are non-vibrating toys designed for insertion. Vibrators can be found in battery –powered models or in plug-in models. The plug-in models are usually more powerful and can be used as body massagers as well as genital stimulators.
Plug-in vibrators run between $34- $130.
Premium vibrators, or novelty vibrators, are less durable than plug in ones and so their lifespan is unpredictable, from one week to several years. These vibrators are fun because they can have multiple moving parts and are designed in cool colors and shapes, such as rabbits and mermaids. Hard plastic vibrators are more powerful than vinyl or rubber ones, if you’re looking for more extreme sensation.
Premium vibrators run between $35- $350.
Discreet vibrators are made to look less like phallic toys and can be stowed inconspicuously in public. Most discreet toys are battery operated because they are smaller than high powered and premium vibrators. They are inexpensive, portable, and gentler than the full size vibrators on the market. Discreet vibrators are also considered novelty machines so durability is between one week’s time and several years.
Discreet vibrators run between $10- $200....NOT COMPLETE
Anal Toys
Dildos and vibrators can also be used for anal play, although small vibrators that don’t have a secure handle are a bad idea as the vibe can slip all the way into the rectum. That leads to an interesting trip to the ER. ER. NOT COMPLETE
Anal toys are appreciated by men and women alike. They are constructed much like dildos and can be made of the same materials. FOR YOUR SAFETY: anal toys must be smooth, have a seam-less surface, and flare at the base so that the toy does not slip entirely into the rectum. Diamond-shaped plugs can be inserted so that you can wear them inside your body without using your hands. This can also be fun if you hold a vibrator to an inserted plug for anal play. SOME TIPS: During anal play, relax, communicate with your partner, and LUBRICATE. Lubrication is absolutely necessary.
Anal toys run between $15- $90.
