There are four committees in Tangent whose members work to achieve the goals of the organization. The four committees are Action, Health and Support, Education and Administration.
Past actions by each committee include:
Education – workshops and film/discussions
Administration – active dialogues with the administration which led to at least one gender-neutral bathroom in almost all academic buildings
Health and Support – establishment of a transgender support group
Action – bathroom gallery during Trans Awareness Week and organization of a rally
