What is Taekwondo?

Taekwondo is a Korean martial art that began its development over 2,000 years ago. The term translates to "The Way of Foot and Hand."

Today, Taekwondo is recognized as the fastest growing martial art in the world and it was designated an offical Olympic Sport in the Sydney 2000 Summer Olympics.
