Catherine II's Monument (St. Petersburg)

The monument to Catherine the Great was designed by the Russian artist M.O. Mikeshin and unveiled in 1873. It is located just off Nevsky Prospekt on a small square between the Anichkov Palace , the Alexandrinsky Drama Theater and the Russian National Library. Among the dignitaries supporting Catherine are the most prominent individuals of her reign: politicians and poets, military men and courtiers. The only woman is E. R. Dashkova, who is seated and holding a book.

Vorontsov Monument (Odessa)

A bronze statue of Mikhail Vorontsov stands on a high pedestal in the middle of Odessa on Cathedral Square . The monument t was erected in 1863 and is the work of the sculptor F. Brugger from Munich and architect F. Boffod from Odessa .

 
Vorontsov Monument (Tbilisi)
The monument to Mikhail Vorontsov, viceroy of Georgia , was unveiled on March 25, 1867 in what is today Saarbruken Square . The same day the square was named after Vorontsov and the nearby bridge was named Mikheilis Khidi (Mikhail's Bridge). The bonze statue was the work of the famous Russian sculptor N. Pimenov, his apprentice N. Kreiten , and the architect O. Simonson. It was demolished with the establishment of Soviet rule in Georgia .
