Intermediate Digital Design

Project 1 - Audio Scramble, color matte, Final Cut Pro. A project I wasn't so fond of, but it helped me learn about FCP, so I can use it in the future.

Project 2 - Pixelation Video. A series of blurred images taken under low-light conditions arranged into a video format to detail and describe a space.

Dream Countdown - My first Flash Animation. This incorporates some of the sound files created in a previous project and is basically illustrating a conversation between the two people. This project did not come out as well as I had hoped. If you yourself are not to pleased with what you see here, you may be more inclined towards the sometimes crude "Hope's Dream" (see below).

Hope's Dream - My second ever flash animation. I wasn't very happy with my first attempt, so I tried again. It's not very sophisticated, but I was going for a very lighthearted feeling with the stick figures. I think I really succeeded on this project. I am especially fond of the bright colors on the black background because it reminds me of neon lights in the city at night.

Scrabbling - My first rotascoped project. The original footage was recorded with a camera, and then I animated it using flash. I don't like the look of the original footage, but some of the scenes came out very well. Believe me when I say that sometimes, a flower is just a flower. In this case, I just put a flower in the corner because there was one in the original footage and I thought it was pretty.

Final Project-"Journies" - I'm really proud of this interactive Flash animation because I feel that I haven't really worked with the program for very long. Even so, this took a lot of work and I'm pleased with the way it came out. I spent about 20 hours in the computer lab in a single weekend working on this. All-told, the project took about 40 hours, including filming, animating, music selection and working out kinks.
