Past Layouts
To be completely truthful, this is only the third version of this site, so it really doesn't have much of a past. As you probably noted on the first page, the index is interactive with a decent amount of rollovers which turn colors when you go over them. The second version had a pixie-ish thing on leaves. Now we have a seahorse which I vectorized in Adobe Illustrator, a program which I personally loathe, but am working hard to conquer.
The first ever version of this site also featured CL though in a less repetitive capacity. She only appeared as though hanging from a clothes line and on the holographic projector. Yet the initial idea of the first ever index was the same as it is now; a center for a series of links which is initially a black and white line drawing which attains colors as you draw your mouse over it.
I enjoyed it for quite awhile, and then, as the first semester ended, I decided that it was time for a change. Now, the past layout is archived, and you should click here if you want to see it.
the second layout featured elf-like versions of CL on leaves representing
each link to different parts of the site. Using a Pastel color pallet and
a great deal of rollovers, we were presented with
The Ivies
After the Ivies, I designed the "Dream within a Dream" mainpage. It was a seahorse created
in illustrator (erg), and was decidedly simple and elegant. I enjoyed that layout for a good year
and a half before I decided it was time for a change, so it was up for quite some time. More
roll-overs but in a simpler format and nothing too fancy.
