Sylvia Lewis, Smith class of 1974 was a member of the Black Students Alliance and was part of a very active student group instrumental in the formation of the African American studies program.  In this video excerpt she discusses her experiences as a campus activist.   From the Smith College Alumne Oral History Project.

Basic Skills of Organizing for Social Justice: Workshops with Loretta Ross

As Activist-in-Residence, Loretta Ross offered a series of workshops to the Smith community in February 2013:
