BMX 120 Biomath Bootcamp

This course is intended as a hands-on introduction to computational and modeling methods primarily in the life sciences. In an intensive series of workshops extending over 6 days, students will be trained in the use of Matlab as a research tool. All students registering for the course will be placed on a waitlist and accepted with regard to its relevance for their academic goals. Registered students: The course will be taught by Prof. Sara Hews, bio-mathematician from Hampshire College, and Lyudmila Kovalenko, former Smith student and  neuroscience graduate student in Berlin.

 It will be offered during J-term 2015.
