Jacob Edwards is a Hampshire College student currently working on his Division III project in the fields of American Studies and Photography. He completed Hampshire College’s Institute for Curatorial Practice, an intensive five-week course focusing on art and curatorial history and theory, during the Summer of 2015. After constructing a digital exhibition for the ICP, he came to the Smith College Museum of Art and built this website and curated its first exhibition during a five-week internship as part of the Institute for Curatorial Practice Paid Internship Program, funding for which was provided by the Mellon Foundation.

The Lang Collection in its entirety can be explored at the Five College Museums Collections Database or in person at the Cunningham Center for the Study of Prints, Drawings, and Photographs by appointment only.
