Welcome to the BMX 120 Biomath Bootcamp course webpage. This 2 credit inter-term course is an intensive introduction to modeling life sciences processes and systems using the Matlab software package. The course will be taught by Sarah Hews with organization and coordination by Denise Lello. The course meets from 9-4 for five days, January 13-16 and from 5-7 on January 20. The final day will be devoted to student project presentations.
This intensive experience is especially useful for students in Biology, Neuroscience, ES&P, Mathematics and Computer Science. We anticipate that demand will exceed available slots in the class. Students will only be able to register for the class with permission, and slots will be allocated to insure fair representation of home institutions and disciplines. Interested students: Please fill out the online application form.
