Visiting faculty fellowship brings Smith professors to Japan

Founded in 1972, the Associated Kyoto Program (AKP) is a two-semester study abroad program at Doshisha University in Kyoto, Japan sponsored by a consortium of fifteen American colleges and universities, including Smith College. Each year approximately 40 students attend the full academic-year program, where they study the Japanese language and take other courses in English.
