Global Studies Center student committee seeking applicants

Smith's Global Studies Center is located in Wright Hall.

Applications are being accepted for a new Global Studies Center Student Advisory Committee (G-SAC) which will advise and support the GSC Directors and staff on programming initiatives, student outreach and engagement, and awareness of global issues relevant to the mission of the Center.

Student members of G-SAC will serve as liaisons between the Global Studies Center and the Smith College student body. They are expected to promote the center through activities and outreach initiatives such as newsletters, blogs, and web pages.

The G-SAC will meet on a regular basis throughout the semester. Any student wishing to impact the events and activities of Smith’s Global Studies Center should apply to participate in the committee no later than Monday, February 20. The application and the committee mandate can be found online.
