This Thursday, October 20, the Global Studies Center (GSC) will host a Global Salon. The talk, Bridging the US and World as a First Generation American, will feature special guest Alexis Salsedo-Surovov and a conversation on the impact of growing up in a “global household” and its influences on education.
Alexis works in the Smith College Office of Development. GSC Global Salons offer an opportunity to gather to discuss global issues and meet with special guests from around the world. This week’s event will take place on Thursday at noon; a pizza lunch will be served.
