On Tuesday, February 12, the Global Studies Center will present one of it’s popular What’s Happening Around the World (WHAH) lunchtime forums. WHAW: Earthquake or Status Quo? Interpreting the Israeli Election will be a roundtable discussion in response to Israel’s election.
The event will featuring Professor of Government Donna Divine, Lecturer in Jewish Studies Michal Frenkel, and moderator Justin Cammy, Professor of Jewish Studies discussing the January 22 elections in Israel, the aftermath, and the implications for Israeli politics and society.
WHAW is an open forum for the Smith community to learn about and discuss global issues in the news. Tuesday’s event begins at noon in the Global Studies Center. A pizza lunch will be served.
