This Saturday, September 21, Smith will celebrate the Chinese Moon Festival with a celebration at the Campus Center Carroll Room.
The Chinese Moon Festival is a mid-autumn harvest festival celebrating the harvest and the moon. The event at Smith will feature delicious moon cakes, great performances, games, and opportunities to learn about the culture and traditions surrounding the Chinese Moon Festival.
The celebration will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. and is free and open to the public. It is being sponsored by the Dean of the College, the Department of East Asian Languages and Literatures, and the Chinese Inter-regional Student Cultural Organization (CISCO).
