Scalar is an open-source platform that allows users to create non-linear publications online with various media sources and tools for collaboration and reader commentary. It provides a modern interface and user experience for essay- and book-length works.

Getting Started

Click here to create an account. You will need an email address and your full name to create an account. Once you’re signed in, look in the upper righthand corner for the link to your dashboard. Once here, click on the “My Account” tab. At the bottom of the page, you can create your first book.
