March 27, 2020 Update
We’ve reorganized the site a bit in parallel with the release of more help materials. We now have a single page for information for course tools, called Supported Tools, with Instructions, Workshop materials, and FAQs. You can find this on the Resources menu. We will continue to update this new page with additional resources.
The new page mentioned above also links to instructions on how to access specialized materials.
Our consultation and workshop schedule for the week of March 30th will be posted late today.
March 13, 2020 Update
As you prepare to complete your course(s) remotely beginning March 30, we want to make sure you’re aware of the resources designed to help stay connected to your professors and one another.
In the list of resources in the sidebar on this page (this shows as a separate menu in the mobile view), you’ll find tips and recommendations for getting your equipment ready for remote work and a link to library resources. You’ll also find an online form to request technical support related to remote work.
We know that for many of you, these may be new tools and a new way of learning. Our team is here to make this transition as smooth as possible for you. As we develop additional resources, we will share them here. Please remember to frequently check your Smith email as well as many updates will be sent via email.
