This project is an exploration of the Dyke TV archives with the initial intention of breaking it out of the archives and making it accessible to an audience that never got to see it on the air. Once I began gathering people together for viewing parties the questions that have been guiding my process began to emerge through conversation. What does it mean to bring this to a queer audience now? What potential does Dyke TV have as an archival relic carry out its mission to “Incite, subvert, provoke and organise”? How did it function as a world making mechanism?
