Below is the list of our Spring 2018 Accessibility workshops for faculty and staff. Explore the workshops we have prepared for you and register for the ones you are interested in. All the events will take place in Seelye Hall, room 201.

Procuring Accessible Technology

This workshop will give participants an overview of the steps to take in order to assure the technology being considered for purchase is accessible. Presenters will discuss questions to ask vendors and language to include in RFPs and contracts.

Accessible Websites

This workshop will review the simple things web site developers can do to make sure pages are accessible. Participants will experience the issues people with various disabilities have on web pages and the available tools to make sure these difficulties are addressed.

Accessible Instructional Materials

Participants in this workshop will review the simple tools available at Smith to help assure students have full access to text, images, audio, and video materials for use in their courses.
