Faculty & Advisers: Ask the candidate to share with you the particular fellowship foundation’s guidance for letter writers. The more competitive the fellowship, the more carefully the review committee will look for information most relevant to their selection criteria. Fellowship advisers are always happy to answer questions or provide advice on how to address the selection criteria of particular fellowships.
