この本はとても面白くて、日本のお祭りについて話します。いろいろな七夕のイベントや文化を紹介します。すごく楽しいと思います。この本を読んで、私も夏休みに、日本に行ったり、七夕祭りのイベントをしたり、かき氷を食べたりしたいです。それから、ジョンさんは明るくて、面白いキャラクターだから、ジョンさんのストーリーを読むのが大好きです。
私はこの本を勧めます。今学期の新しい文法と単語をたくさん使ったから、たくさん練習します。この本を読んで、日本の文化をたくさん習います。ぜひ読んでください。
とてもおもしろい本です！しらないことばがありましたが、しゃしんはてつだいました。ぶんぽはわかりやすかったです。この本は日本の結婚式について話しました。新しいことをおしえました。私はこの本を好きでした。
This was really interesting book about Japanese marriage ceremonies. I learned a lot from this book, like the sort of clothes the bride and groom wear at a wedding ceremony and some of the things they do. There were quite a few new words, but the pictures were very helpful in determining what the unknown words mean through context. The grammar was also all forms that 1st year Japanese students have already learned, so that part made it easier to read too. I highly recommend this book to 1st year students!
この本はとてもおもしろくて、かわいいです。大好きです！
The book consists of two stories. The first one is why the shrimp’s body is not straight, and the second one is why there is no cat year. It’s so fun to know some Japanese traditional stories! There are some unknown words in the book, but I can figure out their meanings when I see pictures.
この本は家で寿司のつき方を紹介するの本です。私は寿司が大好きなので、様々な寿司を食べたが、この本を読んだ時、たくさんの寿司の種類を見て本当にびっくりしました。いろいろなすしの写真はとても美味しそう。江戸前寿司のつくのは最も難しい気がします。この本を持っていれば、寿司をつきやすくなるに違いない。この寿司が好きな人向けの料理本は、皆さんにすすめたい！
This book is a sushi recipe book and it introduces so many different types of sushi and the ways to make them. Making sushi could be creative. Although sushi seems to be easy to make, but it could take years or decades to master it. There are some new and specific sushi vocabularies in the book, but with the pictures the book is easy to understand.
この本のなかで、笑い話がたくさんあります。話がたくさんありますが、難しくないです。心配しないてください。この本は面白いし、簡単し、読んだほうがいいとおもいます。読んでくださいね。
I really like this book because it contains a lot of traditional Japanese funny stories. Although they are all interesting, they are not necessarily funny. So you might not feel “LOL”throughout the reading but I’m sure you will be amused by the small wit hidden in the simple language. I would recommend this book.
この本は面白いかったと思います。文はちょっとみじかくて、かんたんで、ちょっと難しくなかったです。漢字と新しい単語があるので、楽しかったです。でも、悲しかったと思ういます。
For all that the sentences were simple and short, the story conveyed lots of emotion. The vocabulary was almost all familiar, and there wasn’t much kanji.The ending was kind of sad, but still enjoyable. I would certainly recommend others give it a try.
とてもいい本でしたよ！ちしきとれきしがたくさんあって、面白かったです。説明書があって、かわいい絵もありました。私はこの本を読んでよかったです。でも、文がみじかすぎるので、とても簡単本でした。
I would recommend this book. The sentences were pretty short and simplistic, and there wasn’t a whole lot of kanji, but it was informative and fun to read. The pictures are very cute, and the instructions/directions on how to make the various food items was enjoyable to read.
古事記は日本の昔から話です。神話なので、たくさん神様がいます。古い話ですから、とても変ですが、とても面白いと思います。この本の中で、「日本の国の始まり」や「死の国」や他の話があります。天照は私の一番好きな古事記のキャラクターです。天照は太陽の神様だけでなく、天照は日本の神話によって日本の天皇の祖先で信じられています。時々古事記は他の国の神話みたいです。時々古事記は他の国の神話と比べて、とても違います。そして、古事記はとても面白いです。日本と他の国の神話やれきしや文化が好きな人達は古事記をよんだほうがいいと思います。
I recommend this book to anyone who likes learning about the mythology, history and culture of Japan or any other countries. It is not very hard to read, even though sometimes the stories can be very strange because they are so old, so that is a little confusing. However, the pictures help a lot and the stories are really interesting. Please read this excerpted version of the Kojiki to learn more about the mythology of Japan!
いい本ですよ。読んでください！日本のおまつりを勉強します。たとえば、短冊でおねがいを書きて、ささをおきました。あとで花火をみたり、かき氷を食べたりします。このものがたりはとてもたのしくて、かっこいいいろがあります。
This is a great book. Please read if you can! It teaches about Japanese festivals and traditions. Such as writing a wish on card and hanging it on a bamboo leaf. In the book they also saw fireworks, and ate shaved ice. This story is very fun, and it has cool colors.
I recommend this book to anyone who is interested in Japanese festival and traditions. Also represents family setting, also what host families are like. A lot of the words in this book are words we mostly know, the kanji is also very easy to read. 
本をよんだのあと、お腹がすくになります。この本はとても面白と思いました。本の中で、食べる場所や食べる方法や作る方法やいろいろすしがあります。すしの歴史には驚かしました。知る為に読む！いろいろすしと食材があるから、言葉だちょっと難しです。また、たくさん漢字があります。辞書が近くにあってください！本を勧めます！
After reading this book, I got hungry. This book is extremely interesting. It talks about where to eat sushi, how to eat sushi, how to make sushi, different types of sushi, etc. The history of sushi surprised me. Read to find out why! Because there are a lot of different types of sushi and ingredients, the vocabulary was a little bit hard. Also, there were a lot of kanji. Please have a dictionary nearby! I recommend this book!
