GEO is currently in their biennial contract negotiation. Such negotiations often spark labor actions, but the pandemic has limited the options for such actions. GEO held a drive-through protest on April 19th, with over 100 cars, rather than an in person rally. Actions from UCSC and Columbia demonstrate that graduate workers can withhold their labor without teaching in person.
