This electronic mailing list is for American women of African, Spanish/Hispanic, Asian, and other non-European backgrounds. We will provide support to each other and discuss the social, private, and global aspects of "minority" women and the life we live today. Topics will include, but are not limited to, sexism, racism and racial issues, feminism, relationships, parenting, family, marriage, career, education, culture, media, health and fitness, mental health, fashion, and social beauty standards. We will support each other in daily trials and tribulations that we face in our lives. We will share our joys and sorrows with each other and ultimately form a bond that will give us the strength to forge ahead in the world of today and tomorrow. This is a SUPPORT group and many topics will be discussed, however, there will be absolutely NO flaming allowed.   http://www.findmail.com/group/womenofcolor/info.html
