Caption: Harriman, "Hold On There, Theodore, Let's Talk this Thing Over!" Source/Date: Literary Digest, March 23, 1907 Ultimate Source(if different): Cleveland Plain Dealer Creator: James H. Donahey Remarks: Cartoonists loved the public falling out of Harriman and Roosevelt. This cartoon clearly has Roosevelt the winner -- as in a good Progressive morality play -- but it is unusual in depicting them as the same size. Others made Harriman much smaller to emphasize the primacy of the political over the business sphere. Keywords: Harriman, Edward H.
