Remarks: Staybolts held locomotive boilers together; broken ones were therefore highly dangerous. Falls Hollow staybolts would leak steam if broken. They were thus "tell-tale." The company did a number of advertisements like this one, trying to make the gruesome subject of boiler explosions humorous.
